The IT Operations Toolkit was programmed by Stephen Finazzo as a means to simplify common IT Operations tasks. The original plan was to create something to help network operations staff be more efficient by removing some of the steps required to navigate thru commonly used tools. As the tool grew in capabilities, it was expanded to support many platforms outside of just network devices. Now in its current release, the IT Operations Toolkit supports a wide range of different devices, operating systems, and appliances.
